Happy to announce that I’ve passed CKAD exam with score of 94. Thanks @Alistair Mackay @Mumshad Mannambeth @Trung Tran@unnivkn and everyone else who has helped me along the way.

Now, important part, While preparing for exam, I haven’t found any clarity regarding use of external monitor with Macbook pro M1 so I wanted to tried it myself and see what happens.
For this, I’ve used external webcam, keyboard, mouse along with external monitor. All you need to do is put your Macbook pro M1 in clamshell mode and It’s very straight forward for M1 based Macbook’s. You need to supply power to laptop, connect webcam, keyboard, mouse and connect to external monitor and close the lid of Macbook pro M1 and check your display settings to make sure, you’re just seeing single external display. also adjust your sound settings to use Mic of external webcam and It should work.

Now, regarding exam environment, Please make sure, you’re taking exam on approved operating system’s. It’s mentioned here. This is to make sure, you’re not going to face any environmental issues.

apart from this, I haven’t encountered any lag issues during the exam. I hope, It helps any future exam takers.

quick question on the k explain command. While I am practicing for my CKAD exam, I am trying to use the k explain whenever possible. The only concern I have is, I am not sure if we can open multiple tabs of the shell. one to check the explain command and the other one is to edit yaml file in parallel. Please confirm
