John Test:
Got my CKAD. Thanks @Mumshad Mannambeth @unnivkn @Tej Singh Rana and everyone here!
Few things to note:
people think CKAD is easier than CKA. I did not feel this at all. Actually I used up more time on CKAD than CKA. More questions had more tasks compared with CKA. Don’t forget to practise helm and docker/podman. Open any links provided on exam in new tab (right click open new tab).
Sharing screen was not working so proctor asked me to restart my system, resulted in wasted time. You may want to do this in advance.
unnivkn:
congratulations @John Test
Md Azaz ALi:
congratulations @John Test i am going to appear for the exam in coming weeks can you give some additional tips that can help me or anyone appearing for the exam
unnivkn:
Hi @Md Azaz ALi there are lot tips in the pinned messages. Please go through it.
Zack:
Good job and congratulations…
That’s why i call… CKA is conceptual… and CKAD is fastest finger first you should appear for CKAD once you are very good and experienced in daily operations of k8s … so that your fingers have memory to flow over the keypad
Siddharth Mehta:
Many Congratulations @John Test!!
Are the practice exercises in killer.sh sufficient for Helm and Docker/Podman? Or any other resource you would recommend.
Siddharth Mehta:
And can we not use the pre-bookmarked links?
John Test:
@Siddharth Mehta I would play with it a bit more on my own on top of mock exams/killer.sh. Yes you can use booksmarks that are allowed for http://kubernetes.io|kubernetes.io, helm.sh, http://github.com/kubernetes|github.com/kubernetes etc.
Siddharth Mehta:
I’ve bookmarked around 22+ tabs based on various labs, practice tests and killer.sh mock and been practising using those only. Your point taken, I shall also practice once using search from k8d docs once too
