I installed git & did git --version to confirm it, and it says that it is not installed on the storage server. It may be because its on jumpbox (thor), however, the task does not contain instructions on how to get to the Storage Server
You have installed git on the jump_host - you were asked to install it on a different machine called the storage server. Refer to the button on the menu bar to take you to the wiki page listing all the servers and their credentials.
