Game of Pods: Pento ,master node not able to connect to kubectl commands

master node is giving the kube api connection error.
controlplane $ kubectl get nodes
The connection to the server controlplane:6443 was refused - did you specify the right host or port?
controlplane $

While the solution video doesnt mention anything of this sort.
