Finally, I sat for the official CKAD exam :kubernetes_party: :k8s_intensifies: a . .

Tej Singh Rana:
Finally, I sat for the official CKAD exam :kubernetes_party: :k8s_intensifies: and got the lovely and most awaited k8s developer cert. Exam env was on 1.25 and didn’t see any issues with the questions and topics. All are covered in the CKAD course. :kodekloud: :kodekloud:
Thanks for this wonderful course @Mumshad Mannambeth @Vijin Palazhi

About the Environment: -

  1. I got some issues while doing ID and Room verification. Application got freeze.
  2. Somehow I managed to click the ID photo clearly (but it was a bit blurry). But Proctor accepted it.
  3. After successfully completed ID verification and room tour, proctor started the exam and I didn’t face any lags, network glitch in between the exam.

To resolve the application issue: -
If your PSI application get freeze or stuck and the proctor would say Live Streaming stopped or can’t see you through webcam. Just reload it. :toolbox:
Reload option is available in the “View” tab on the application top left after “File” tab. (Refer to the attached screenshot)

About the TIPs: -
You already know this. But let me share it again with you: -

  1. Always set the context before going through the questions. Otherwise after completing the task you will realize you did in the wrong cluster. It will consume more time. :exploding_head:
  2. Read the questions properly first, maybe you can miss the namespaces.
  3. Be quick with the commands. :zap:
  4. Always try to find any topics in the official k8s page (because this site is allowed to open during the exam). Because in the exam, you won’t get nervous. (Exam pressure and time can freeze your brain) :expressionless:
  5. Don’t get stuck with one question. You can complete at the end and you can pick any questions from dropdown. :bulb:
  6. Take a backup of the already deployed resources if you are not sure it’s given in the XYZ directory or you can messed it up. :bulb:
  7. Create a new resource with imperative commands and name it file as ques1.yaml , ques2.yaml something like that (easy to identify later on). :bulb:
  8. If you are new to Linux commands, learn and be familiar with it first. :linux:
  9. Most important TIP —> Don’t forget to practice practice practice.
I was reading the above FAQ before the exam. It’s awesome. Thanks @Alistair Mackay @unnivkn @Trung Tran @Mohamed Ayman @Mouhamadou Moustapha Camara @Dinesh Pratap Singh (KodeKloud)
