The option given in the solution is not available, there was an error on Manage Jenkins which asked for installation of another plugin. Did that but seems I’m doing something wrong as the new plugin doesn’t give the exact options mentioned in the Solution section.

Yes, you are right you need to install the Matrix Authorization strategy plugin.
Had the same issue. Why hasn’t the lab been updated since this is a known issue for several months?

We will get the Project-based matrix authorization after installing the “Matrix Authorization Strategy” plugin.
It’s been a while, but if I recall, The instructions and question prompts don’t mention anything about needing to install the plug-in. I had to come to this forum to see that someone else had this issue reported and that the plug-in needed to be installed. That solution was posted in May but I’m still running into the same issue 2 months later. Why wasn’t the lab updated?
