Exam on Desktop

I’m going to take the exam on my Desktop, can I have a microphone on my desk? When I was taking terraform exam, they didn’t let me, it’s a DuoCast HyperX. Also, do I need speakers on my desk?

I have a webcam on my desk too, the rule about no eletronics in the desk, count as it?

Hi @Philippe-Geraldeli

You can have a webcam, a monitor, and a keyboard on the desk, but no speakers/earphones or any other electronic devices are allowed.
You can go through this document to get more clarity on the topic.

Thanks for the answer @Santosh_KodeKloud

How would I be able to do the exam on my Desktop? It does not have built in microphone and speaker like a laptop. :smiling_face_with_tear:

I don’t think you would need a speaker or microphone during the exam. The proctor would be interacting via text through the PSI browser.

In the link that you’ve sent me, says I need it:

Does my microphone need to work?

Yes

Proctor needs to be able to hear if anybody is talking to you from outside the camera’s view.

Yup!
I stand corrected. You would need a microphone.
