This mock exam seems to be broken in many places or I am doing something very very wrong.
As a paying customer id hoe the lab would work as expected or the odd error here and there, but a lot of this lab just seems broken.
If I am wrong I apologise in advance but someone needs to look at it.
Question 7
there is no suddirectory called project1 so I cant do any of the question
I do a search across the whole instance sudo find / -type d -name project1
Folder does not exist
Question on certs the folder home/bob/certs does not exist so cant do that question either
Question 9 there is no VG or LV created so cant do that question either
Question 13 there is no process maxing out resources and i search for mockexam.sh using
sudo find / -type f -name mockexam.sh and nothing
Question 15 there is no /opt/archive folder so cant do the question
Question 16 using df -h there is nothing using all the storage the most being used is 16% for /dev/vda1
Qesution 17 there is no additional swap configured just the default swap.img
Could someone please look into this, as I am honestly not happy at the moment
This is concerning. I’ve just started up a subscription specifically for the LFCS course, if this is the case I’m going to be looking for my money back…
The training itself is decent, it’s on Ubuntu so if that’s what you’re doing it’s golden. I’m doing it in centos so there are a few differences.
Make sure you buy the lfcs exam voucher from LF while it’s in the cyber Monday deal, they give you 2x killer.sh exam labs as part of the deal as well.
Hi @dark_knightuk
Thanks for the feedback. I verified the labs and here are my findings:
Question 7
there is no subdirectory called project1
The project1
subdirectory is available in /home/bob
dir containing files in a git repo.
Question on certs the folder home/bob/certs does not exist
As you can see from the above image, there exists a directory named certs
containing six certs and keys.
Question 9 there is no VG or LV created
The Volume Group and Logical Volume are present, as shown above.
Question 13 there is no process maxing out resources and i search for mockexam.sh
Question 15 there is no /opt/archive folder
Question 16 using df -h there is nothing using all the storage the most being used is 16% for /dev/vda1
Qesution 17 there is no additional swap configured just the default swap.img
Given the above results from the LFCS Exam 4, it appears the labs are configured as per the requirements in the question on hand.
I request that you try the labs again and see if you can have a better experience.
Hope this helps.
Regards
brilliant I will have another go, hopefully its just my lab failed to init correctly or something
i can confirm I have done this exam again and it all worked perfectly
