Error in KodeKloud task - Disable Root Login

I don’t know why this happened but I disabled root logins on all the App Servers one-by-one.

It specifically gives an error on App Server 1 and I have attached a screenshot of my work.

Please help me with this.

You wouldn’t believe but please don’t hate me after you read this. I actually forgot to restart sshd.service. :stuck_out_tongue: that is why the task failed. But I did it after someone mentioned about it in the review.

Yeah totally!
There is one thing you can do for me. Could you increase the amount of tasks i.e,:

  • Number of tasks allotted at a time - 1 task Before > 2 tasks Now

  • Time taken for the new task to allot becomes less - 24 Hours Before > 4 Hours Now

So it will be 2 tasks at every 4 hours. Or if you could just reduce the time taken to allot the tasks from 24 hours to 4 hours, that would work too.

Its just that I know I can do much more and waiting for a whole 24 hours for a new task is just too much.

It would be great if you could do this for me. I know its like out of your rules but I thought to mention as you said that “I can reset the task for you”. So I believe you may have much more rights than just resetting a task.

It’s possible only in such conditions when validation fails due to some technical glitch or an issue in the backend.
