I tried this lab twice, and I was able to launch the Ec2 with the solicited Amazon Linux image, t2.micro as required and rsa key pair, but the check didn’t detected anything.
The name of the Lab was: “Day 6: Launch EC2 Instance”
I just tried it (using the CLI), and it worked at my end.
This is a beginner-level task that can be completed in the AWS Console, for which the credentials are provided in the lab.
Note: Once the instance is created, we need to wait till the status of the instance transitions to “Running” state before we hit the Check button
