Can you explain what you are doing? You should know when you type the password that the characters will not be shown for security reasons. You just type the password and then press enter (return).
even though i type and enter it is shows error
As I said if you explain what is happening we can help. Screenshots or preferably copying the terminal text into a code block (</>) helps.
Hi. I’m facing the same issue, the password for the user (natasha) isn’t working when i try to connect to the storage server (ststor01) via ssh. Even if I copy / paste it.
Error: natasha@ststor01: Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,password).
Make sure you are not copying spaces from around the password.
