I just started my journey in learning devops now, my work experience before was a front-end dev. But I have a doubt regarding whether I can be OK for this journey or not.
Modern front end work does prepare you for a lot of CLI work, and you have the advantage of knowing what front end developers do, and what kind of services they need. I think a lot of dev ops is about doing what other parts of an organization need, and that includes developers. So wear your front-end badge with pride, and use your old skills to develop your new devops skills.
