Day 80: Jenkins Chained Builds

I am currently doing Day 80: Jenkins Chained Builds

I go the error:

• Seems like webpage is not loading properly on App Server 1, either apache is down there or latest content has not been deployed.

I have checked all app server and page is loading. Is there any specific content the test is looking for?

Hello i have the same problem everything is working both jobs are successfull no errors. app button works .For the first job i use this cmd :

Deploy to Storage Server via SSH

Hi All,

I tried multiple times to complete the chain build but it always stuck with different errors however finally I got below error,can you please someone help on this ?

below is the error I got after submitting as “Seems like your ‘manage-services’ Jenkins job isn’t configured to start ‘httpd’ service on App Server 1 or the job was not triggered by the upstream job”

NOTE: nautilus-app-deployment job was successfully completed and it got stuck with manage-service job

this solution for the upsream job worked for me :

Ensure webroot exists (sudo)

Create temp dir as natasha user (no sudo)

echo “Copying workspace to /tmp/jenkins_deploy…”

Copy all workspace files via scp into temp directory

sshpass -p ‘Bl@kW’ scp -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no -r ./* [email protected]:/tmp/jenkins_deploy/

Move files into webroot and set permissions (sudo)
