In the navigation, there’s typically an item for a demo and then under that, is an menu item for the lab. In this one, there’s no entry for a lab, but there does seem to be a button for this.
Here is screen show of the navigation on the left, and the demo with a start lab button.
Do you mean that the Start Lab
button doesn’t work?
I don’t think that button should be there, since this is a demo lecture not a lab.
This is true, and also the lab in general is missing. In the structure, there’s always a Demo page following by a Lab page. In this case, the corresponding Lab page is missing. So yes, the Start Lab button doesn’t work for the Demo page, but then also there’s no Lab page that corresponds to the Demo page.
I suspect, that when converting this content from another site to KodeKloud, some content got lost.
I found it. It looks like the envconsol lab was merged into the consul-template lab, so that lab has both labs in a single lab.
It would be nice to have more robust labs for pure Consul.
I’m looking at these:
The last one uses Vault, but uses envconsul and consul-template. I wanted to also try this out with the k8s demo apps, but w/o k8s and pure VMs or docker.
