I am currently attempting to configure an AKS cluster with a Linux/amd64 node pool. However, I am encountering difficulties in selecting the appropriate region that supports an amd64 virtual machine size for the node pool. Additionally, I would like to ensure that the node pool and Cosmos DB are located within the same region.
Could anyone provide guidance on how to overcome these challenges?
This is an issue with Microsoft’s free Azure accounts, and I don’t have anything to suggest other than persistence. The popular regions tend not to have capacity reserved for the free accounts, which is a definitely pain in the lower extremities. Short of complain to MS, I don’t know what else to suggest
Thank you @rob_kodekloud for the insight! It’s a bit frustrating, but I’ll keep trying different regions and times to see if I can snag some capacity. I appreciate your advice and will consider reaching out to Microsoft if the issue persists. If you come across any other tips or workarounds, please let me know. Thanks again!
