While there is no runsc runtime set up on the node, note also that the question passes. It would be better that gVisor was set up on controlplane for realism, and I believe that it was set up before the lab was updated to v1.30. I’ll ask the lab team if this is an oversight or not.

Thanks for highlighting this. The team has made some changes. The pod will run without any issues now.
