I’m at the beginning of the course, and the kube-bench video feels very vague and introductory. Right after that, the lab requires knowledge that hasn’t been covered yet. Is this expected, or could there be missing videos due to a bug or some issue with the course content?
Could somebody clarify?
What’s unclear for you so far?
kube-bench is just a tool to look at a system and list possible security weaknesses as CVE reports and techniques for resolving those CVE. As such, it’s going to assume that you know a good bit about Linux systems and Linux. Since this is a prerequisite for doing a CKS course at all, if you’re not familiar with the kind of information kube-bench lays out for you, you may need additional review before you can really do a course on K8s security like this one.
I understand. But I felt the methodology it’s a bit different comparing to CKA/CKAD courses.
Maybe I change my mind when I finish the course.
