Hello everyone — has anyone here taken the CKS course? I’d like to get some insight into it, particularly whether it’s hands-on and how practical the labs are.
It’s a practical exam – every question involves doing some task you need to do on a given cluster that requires knowledge of security concepts, APIs and software utilities. So the labs cover how to do that for the different components and software that CKS covers. It’s a timed test, and most people find it challenging.
Would the KodeKloud CKS course prepare me not just for the exam, but also for real-world work? My plan is to become a Kubernetes Security Engineer.
It certainly covers a lot of common tools used in K8s security. So it would be a natural certification to want to get in that space.
