I was checking the current status of CKAD curriculum and kustomize is part of it:
Since the current version of the training for CKAD does not mention it, I was wondering if there is any other training in kodekloud where we have some introduction to it and/or some labs.

I am checking this too. I don’t see Kustomize in the CKAD training but it appears in Application Deployment domain of the certification: https://training.linuxfoundation.org/certification/certified-kubernetes-application-developer-ckad/

I have been going through the CKAD course material and noticed that Kustomize is mentioned as part of the syllabus. However, I couldn’t find any dedicated sections or tutorials specifically covering Kustomize in the course content. Could you please clarify whether this is an oversight or if there are additional resources that cover it?

I don’t have an update on this currently. There’s a not-so-comprehensible page about Kustomize in the docs, and not a lot more; it’s the only real bit of docs you could potentially use during the exam, and frankly, it’s not particularly useful for that purpose. We do have a Kustomize course on our KK.com platform, but it is probably overkill for a potential CKAD requirement. I’ve re-raised the topic with our content people, and we’ll see if anyone can give me an update on this.
