Is there a guideline of sort to show what topics of the CKA and CKAD overlap and should not be covered in either cases where you have done CKA then CKAD and vice versa?
The course material are many and would love to save some time.
Specifically I have CKA and CKS and I’m preparing for CKAD.
P.S. I am in fact on the path to Kubestronaut and would love an extended advice on KCNA and KCSA given where I am.
P.P.S. News on the KCSA course? Where can I find material for that?
Hi @francesco11
Here’s a reasonably close comparison of the courses community-faq/docs/cka-vs-ckad.md at main · kodekloudhub/community-faq · GitHub
Given that you already hold CKA and CKS…
- CKAD is the easiest of the three. You should be able to do it easily with not much work.
- KCSA I don’t know when the course is going to be released, but with what you already have, there is really nothing new. I was in your shoes about 6 months ago and simply purchased a practice test pack from Udemy for that, then appeared for and easily passed the certification. Most of the questions are common sense you’ll have from CKA and CKS knowledge. I actually appeared for KCNA and KCSA on the same day. Each took about 20 min to do all the MCQ questions.

@Alistair_KodeKloud as per usual, you are a star! Thanks, I’ll also look for the test pack
