Sujit Prajapati:
<#CDR4R9Z7E|ckad-certified-kub-app-dev> After much procrastination, I finally booked the CKAD exam and cleared it with a score of 86%. Sharing some of my experiences/tips here:

PREPARATION:
• I completed the Udemy course taking notes along the way and marking the labs I found difficult.
• I went twice through the lightning labs, mock exams and other labs I found difficult.
• I took my first killer.sh exam one week before, and my second killer.sh exam two days before the actual test. Treat these sessions like the actual exam and try to complete them in 2 hours. But remember killer.sh is way tougher compared to the actual. exam
EXAM DAY;
• Please be mentally prepared to face difficulties during the check in process. The PSI browser closed unexpectedly during my first check in. I had to wait a long time to get a hold of the technical team over chat and then finally get another proctor assigned. Be patient, I found them to be very co-operative.
• I faced a power cut at one point and my lights went off. Fortunately I had a UPS for my router and my laptop had enough charge. But since it went dark, the proctor paused my exam. I opened the window and that let some light in and resumed the exam. Be prepared for scenarios like this!
All the best with your preparations!

andy:
Congrats! How similar are lightning labs and mock exams compared to the real exam?

Sujit Prajapati:
They are similar level of difficulty. I definitely suggest you to set some time aside and do the free killer.sh sessions well.

andy:
is killer.sh environment similar to the actual exam?

Sujit Prajapati:
Yes
But for the actual exam, you have to change the context before every question which isn’t there in killer.sh, it’s a simple copy paste which you shouldn’t miss

Vinod Ch:
Is it possible to paste the copied aliases from our local machine to the vm where exam will be invoked.

Vinod Ch:
Congratulations

Jasmeet Pabla:
congrats @Sujit Prajapati

M A:
congrats @Sujit Prajapati, I am wondering when Linux foundation will take note of shitty PSI browser experience and find another exam provider :disappointed:.
