I got an access denied error while creating EC2 user as per instruction in the lab.
the task is:
The Nautilus DevOps team needs to perform tasks involving IAM user creation and policy assignment. They need to create an IAM user and a read-only policy for accessing the EC2 console.
- Create an IAM user named
iamuser_yousuf-t2q1.
Hi, Dylan, Can you please check the user creation, it is fixed.
When I tried next time, the question changed and the issue changed too.
The question is:
The Nautilus DevOps Team is responsible for configuring Identity and Access Management (IAM) resources to ensure secure and controlled access within their AWS environment. The tasks include:
-
IAM role name must be iamrole_ammar-t2q2.Entity type must be AWS Service and use case must be EC2.
-
Attach a policy named iampolicy_ammar-t2q2 to IAM role iamrole_ammar-t2q2.
-
Launch an EC2 instance named nautilus-t2q2 and attach this role to the instance.
I couldn’t see the IAM role from EC2 instance because the instance profile was not created.
Hi Dylan, This should be fixed now
