Bump, I’ve encountered the same issue following this course.
Cloud Build isn’t apart of the supported services for the GCP playground.
Taking a quick look at the course, I note that part of the 2nd sprint involves getting a personal GCP account, and having you work within their introductory tier. I’m not sure if the course was tested to work in our playground, which of necessity has restrictions on services, and that might well include Cloud Build.
I’ll ask the lab and content teams what policy is on these particular permissions, and if the course actually should run in the playground. But in most courses like this other than ours, there’s an expectation that you will BYOD. That may be our expectation in this case as well.
