Cannot delete-stack failed while applying cloudformation template

Hello kodekloud team.

Tried to pass 47 day in AWS 100 days, cloudformation template for SNS, SQS and lambda function etc…

Failed stack and while rollback or delete stack got this:

Resource handler returned message: “User: arn:aws:iam::074952969475:user/kk_labs_user_731031 is not authorized to perform: iam:DeletePolicy on resource: policy arn:aws:iam::074952969475:policy/lambdaSQSSNSPolicy because no identity-based policy allows the iam:DeletePolicy action (Service: Iam, Status Code: 403, Request ID: 3e6eb819-2047-4145-a8e3-18b4288de98a) (SDK Attempt Count: 1)” (RequestToken: 1e2b2e96-5ec4-f5fd-6624-d83588f012ab, HandlerErrorCode: AccessDenied)

So, can’t delete stack and have to start all over again (close the Lab and start it again) - it’s really waste of time. Is it OK with such an approach or something could be fixed for KK IAM user?

Hello.

Today nothing changed with policies, the behaviour the same. Stack cannot be deleted because of lack the iam:DeletePolicy permission.

All I can tell you is that they have a ticket marked as “in progress”. Cannot say when it will be completed
