Blocked in the labs

I get this message when I try to access the labs: “Malicious usage detected and hence this account has been blocked for violating terms of use policy. Please contact [email protected] to resolve any issues.”

I checked the troubleshooting tips: " This could be happening because recently, we have enabled security measures on KodeKloud labs as follows:

  • Running crypto-mining in labs is strictly prohibited. Your lab access will be blocked if you are caught running this program.
  • Running network scanning on the lab terminal is not allowed. If you are caught running these tools for scanning hosts or ports:
    • nmap
    • tshark
    • ngrep
    • mitmproxy
    your access to the labs will be blocked."

I haven’t run any of those commands. Have no idea why my account got blocked. I sent an email. How long until they respond? If it takes very long, I’ll probably ask for a refund

I’d guess you’ll hear some time today. First time I’ve heard of somebody getting this message, but I expect that [email protected] will have more info than I do.
