Azure Day 2 challenge is not completing

I am trying to create a virtual machine as per the prescribed instructions, which require selecting the B1s VM size. However, it is showing a request quota error, and because of this, I am unable to complete the Day 2 task. Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest.

Am facing the similar issue too, where the mentioned SKU is not allowed for the region. Tried using different SKUs, still its failing. Please have a look at the error below and assist in proceeding with the task.

I too, am facing the same issue. I have turned in a bug report for the last 2 days and still no resolution. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon. Already 2 days behind now.

Well seems that issue was fixed as of this morning but now there are 2 problems with adding the disk. First, Azure will not allow me to create a disk of less than 32GB and the exercise requires a 30GB drive, and secondly, I get an error that says:

Resource ‘devops-vm_disk1_2f91685cb2244563b72c0567d082d5ae’ was disallowed by policy. Reasons: ‘Global: This storage configuration is not allowed. Ensure the disk size is 128 GB or less and the SKU is not Premium for Compute disks. For Storage accounts, use Standard_LRS or Standard_RAGRS SKUs.’. See error details for policy resource IDs. Problem is that the disk was created (Standard HDD as required) but it will not attach to the VM either initially or as “add an existing disk”.
