I don’t believe so: the services we allow are listed in the launch page for the Azure playgrounds (e.g., regular, data, etc.). If it’s not on that list, in general we don’t allow for it.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with Databricks on about three projects as a Cloud Engineer, where I wrote Terraform code to create and manage Databricks resources and workspaces in Azure. It’s a really powerful tool, but it can be quite expensive due to the licensing costs and the need for high compute resources.
In my opinion, the best way to learn Databricks is by joining a company that uses it for their data processing workloads.
