In the AZ-900 course, I have a query regarding Data residency compliance vs. implementing data resiliency using regional pairs. In case I’m using AWS regional pairs for resiliency isn’t my data residency requirements violated?

In Azure, data residency pertains to the physical location where data is stored, and it must comply with the legal requirements of that geographical location. Azure achieves data resilience through the concept of “regional pairs.” These are two regions within the same geography linked together to provide redundancy and ensure data availability and durability.
