I am not sure how to end the exercise and mark it as complete. I created an EC2, I created the key pair and then I connected to the EC2 from my local terminal.
When I clicked “check my work”, nothing seems to happen.
This is the very first exercise so it could be I have not understood the playground properly.
Any help would be appreciated

Thank you for contacting us. The task description specifies that you need to create a key pair in the us-east-1 region only. There is no need to create an EC2 instance and attach the key to it at this stage.
I understand you might be curious about doing that, but it will be covered in the next level task. For now, please focus on creating the key pair and submitting the task.
FYI, I have just performed the task and didn’t face the problem you mentioned.
