AppArmor filesystem is not mounted

Hi,
I am trying to install AppArmor on a node. I executed the followings but there is an error stating that “AppArmor filesystem is not mounted”. Please suggest the fix.

  1. apt update
  2. apt install apparmor
  3. systemctl status apparmor.service (status is active (exited)
