Ansible: could not match supplied host pattern

hello kodekloud i am still stuck in runing ansible the issues i am facing now, is to ssh into a host on the inventory file, after typing the host name and ip address, and also giving it a user id and a password, after which i created my playbook file using yml, when i run the playbook this is what i see,

“{warning} could not match supplied host pattern ignoring” i need help on that

@Kings , “could not match supplied host pattern” , it’s most likely about you not pointing Ansible to the correct hosts file that defines your groups and servers.

@tgp please how do i achieve that? can you show me a tutorial of it? i have tried alot of ways in doing so,
