According to the playground notes, each session runs for 3 hours. However, I discovered that after a session ends—whether I end it manually or it auto-ends—I encounter a “max session” error when trying to start a new session.
Am I not able to start another session after the first one ends? I haven’t seen any information about this in the notes, so I assumed it would be permissible. Unfortunately, that was not the case during my test.
First, which playground is this? For some playgrounds, the session has “two ends”. – the kodekloud.com page that has the playground credentials (this one has an “End” button), and the playground console (say, an AWS console) where there’s also a “Signout” menu item. Sometimes it’s useful to close the session at both ends – hit the “End” button, and signout of the console as well. This might be what’s causing your problem in this case.
I encountered an issue in the Azure AI Playground (under Other Cognitive Services). In my case, the time limit has expired (which techically did both).
Note - I never ran into this in the past and I did MANY labs
I also tried closing both the tab and the browser session to start fresh, but the outcome remained the same.
Not sure what exactly triggers the “too many sessions” message, so I’ve asked engineering to explain why this might be. Thanks for reporting the issue.
