I bought the course from udemy. Now I want to join slack channel. But I get a response from slack saying kodekloud doesn’t have an account with my email.
We’ve recently had some problems with Slack, and in a change of policy, we’ve moved our tech support from Slack to our Discourse community software. So welcome here! For now, we are not adding people to Slack.
Hi
@sharathchandra.acha the response in the forum is fast and good. So if you have some question, many people here are willing to help you.
Are planning to migrate to another service in the future @rob_kodekloud ? I was just comming here in the forum to ask what’s going on in the slack chat, and the differences between the forum and slack.
Best Regards
@carlos140 the current plan is to continue using Slack for chat and for things that require immediate response, but to move tech support entirely into this Discourse-based system. Slack has issues with searching and it can get unstable when the number of users rises above a certain number. But it’s nice for its quick response.
Once we know that Slack is stable again, we’ll probably open it up a bit, but we’ll still continue to do tech support here, rather than in Slack.
Thanks @rob_kodekloud for the answer. @sharathchandra.acha if you need to contact the team for some issues apart from your learning, the chatbot in the begining of the page helps a lot. Usually works fast, and if you make your query outside of the team worktime, they will reply the next day by email. I had been made many queries with the chatbot, and works excellent.
Have both a nice day
It works excellent @rob_kodekloud. There are a great team of people really willing to help. I had been made many queries, about account subscriptions, about content, they have contact with the backend developers if something wrong happen, and if noneone is answer me my doubts in the forum, they can also contact people to answer the queries, like you
So for me, be relax about the slack issue, you are making a good job, wich is really appreciated.
