The task requires VM size Standard_B1s.
In this lab subscription, Standard_B1s is blocked by Azure Policy / quota (Portal shows “Request quota”).
Azure CLI also cannot create the VM with this size due to policy restrictions.
The VM was created with the closest available size, but the validator performs a hard size check.
This makes the task impossible to complete as specified. I failed the task and error showing :VM ‘datacenter-vm’ does not have the correct size
Hi, I ran into the same issue but B1s became available today and I was able to complete the task. Keep trying and ensure you are on the correct region!
