Search field value of CRD file in CKA exam

Hi all,
During CKA exam, I was asked to search for a specific value in a variable and extract it using jsonpath. The config file is so large that I tried using yq -r at home to view the difference fields, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work in mock exercises. What about CKA? What can use during the exam to find the different fields?
Best regards

You might be able to use jq for this, particularly if you are familiar with the “select” function.

hi @Hieronymus i planned to pass the exam today , do you have any subjects tips ?

not really familiar with jq… it is easier as yq ?

Hi @enrique_ops, diffcult to say… you must know all subject. Do every you know good first and comes back to exercice which you must think a lot. The important thing is not to lose time…

It’s like yq, but it operates on json. It’s pretty capable, and has a lot of handy functions that makes it more powerful. Take a look.
