There seem to be a lot of issues on this board with Jenkins, but not a lot of solutions. I’m on my 3rd attempt at installing a plugin and am stuck at the “Pending” stage for some of the required packages of that plugin.
Since this is the first piece of this puzzle, hard to say if there is anything else going on with this lab. But this is super frustrating to be stuck here.
Before I got to this phase, there was an issue searching the ‘Available Plugins’. I would eventually get a list, but anytime I tried to refine that list by searching for what I wanted, the whole list went away. I didn’t capture screenshot, but it was easily reproducible on my end.
I found a trick for that when i was doing all these, actually they have not provided enough room to jenkins lab on their server so eventually it will crash on server side. Nginx is lethargic tbh.
the tric is when you have checked the restart jenkins when installl… you need to click go back to the top page after few seconds.
