Since yesterday, I am facing issues while using the site. Sometimes the site does not open, and at other times moving to the next lesson takes more than 10 minutes unless I refresh the page.
Thanks for your feedback. There is an internal ticket about this. It happens occasionally, and the team is troubleshooting it. I’ll keep you updated.
Hello. For a few weeks I have been observing big problems on the course pages (video) and the lab pages, it is perhaps related to this reported problem. When I do a performance analysis I can see that the allocated CPU is at the max and that the JS Heap is sawtooth pattern. There must be an active loop in the code that generates useless objects. This is very penalizing for devices with limited resources (laptop). I hope you can resolve this problem quickly. Regards.
Hi @raymond.baoly ,
Thank you for your intervention. On my side I can see that the CPU activity is back to normal. The big difference I have observed is that KodeKloud pages now require the Google Widevine extension. Be careful though, there is still a gradual increase in the number of listeners and JSHeap when one remains on a course page, without activity on the page, even with the video stopped. But it remains much less impactful than the CPU activity which was completely excessive.
Have a nice day
Thanks @j-phi
That’s really an insightful thought. I’ll inform the team and hopefully they have a plan to improve it.
