CKA - V1.34 changes

Is that possible to take the CKA exam V1.33 instead of V1.34 in sep 2025?
If yes, how to book that?

If no , will there be a difference in the questions or question pattern in v1.34 from, V1.33?

I would expect no difference whatsoever. The K8s curriculum is largely unaffected by minor version changes (1.33 and 1.34 are called “minor versions”), and in practice, the is very little visible difference between them. While we’re in the process of updating our labs to 1.34 – this is already done for CKA – it will make no practical difference for the exam.

Hi @sveemani

For the avoidance of doubt, questions are only updated when Linux Foundation publishes a change in exam requirements, as they did last February. Such changes are publicized well in advance, and do not happen every time there’s a new version of Kubernetes. More like every 2-3 years or so.
They may make minor changes such as if something that is tested on is removed by a new version of Kube, then clearly you cannot have questions on deprecated material.
