Can anyone tell me when I can expect the next better discount for the CKA exam?
When is the best time for me to register for the exam and receive a better discount?

The Linux Foundation offers big discounts around the Black Friday sale around November, which is close. I also suggest registering ( if not registered yet ) with the LFs training portal, so that you would get Emails regarding ongoing discounts.

If you are ready to take the team before the LF announces the offers, we offer a permanent Linux Foundation discount of 20%.

Note that when filling out your profile on the Linux Foundation portal, please ensure that your name matches exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID. This information will be verified during the exam, and your certificate will be issued under the same name.

Is it possible to register for both CKA and CKS on the same day? @Santosh_KodeKloud

The process is as follows:

  • You purchase the exam or exam bundle ( CKA, CKAD, CKS), there are other bundles available as well.
  • You schedule the exam on the LFs Scheduling page. While scheduling you need to select the available timeslot available for a particular day. This scheduling is done for both exams.
  • You appear for the exam on the scheduled date/time

I suggest keeping at least one day of spare time between both exams, as you would need some rest after a stressful first exam.
Also, please go through the candidate handbook thoroughly before scheduling or appearing for the exam.
