Can I pass CKAD by just paying for the exam and using free resources, or is a paid course really necessary?

I’m planning to take the CKAD exam soon and wondering if it’s possible to pass by only paying for the exam and using free resources like YouTube or GitHub. Is a paid course really necessary to succeed?

Off hand, I’d guess there are enough free resources to do that. But sometimes, you get what you pay for We have good non-free resources for CKA and CKAD. But there are some great free resources here and there as well.
